The short version

You can read every page of this website — music, videos, news, live dates, biography — without giving any personal information and without being tracked. There is no analytics on this website, no advertising, no tag manager and no tracking cookie.

The only personal data this website handles is the data behind an account, and only if you choose to create one.

What is collected when you sign in with Google

Accounts on this website are created and signed in to with Google. Google confirms your identity to this website and shares a limited profile with it: the name on your Google account, the email address on it, and your profile picture if you have one. A unique user identifier issued to your account, the date your account was created and the date you last signed in are also held.

Signing in with Google does not give this website access to your Google account, your contacts, your Drive, your Gmail, or anything else. You can review and revoke that access at any time in your Google account's security settings.

Why this data is held, and what it is not used for

Account data is held for one reason: so that you can sign in, stay signed in, and be recognised on your next visit. It is the basis on which we can honour the account itself.

It is not sold, rented or shared with advertisers, promoters, labels or any other third party. It is not used to build a profile of you. No marketing email is sent from this website today; if that ever changes, it will be a separate, clearly labelled choice that you have to opt into, and this policy will be updated first.

Who processes it

Accounts on this website are provided by Firebase Authentication, a Google service. Google processes and stores your account data on its infrastructure on our behalf, under its own security and data-protection commitments, and that infrastructure is located outside Nepal.

There is no separate database of our own: this website is a set of static files, it has no server of its own that receives your details, and no copy of your account data is stored anywhere else by us.

How long it is kept

Your account data is kept for as long as your account exists. When your account is deleted, the data is deleted with it.

Your rights

You can ask, at any time, to see a copy of the account data held about you, to have it corrected, or to have your account and its data permanently deleted.

Write to niraj.knack@gmail.com from the email address on your account and the request will be answered. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.

Children

This website is not directed at children, and accounts are not intended for anyone under 13. If you believe a child has created an account here, write to niraj.knack@gmail.com and it will be removed.

Embedded video and external links

Videos on this website are embedded through YouTube's privacy-enhanced domain, youtube-nocookie.com, and the player is only loaded once you choose to play a video. Until you press play, no request is made to YouTube and nothing is set on your device by it. Once you do, YouTube receives your IP address and handles that under Google's privacy policy.

Links to Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, YouTube Music, Deezer, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and ticketing partners take you to services with their own privacy policies. This policy covers only this website.

Fonts, hosting and logs

The typefaces used on this website are served from this website itself, so viewing a page makes no request to Google Fonts or any other font service.

Like any website, the hosting provider that serves these pages may keep short-term technical logs, such as IP addresses and requested URLs, for security and to keep the service running. Those logs are the hosting provider's, are not used by us to identify you, and are not combined with account data.

Security

This website is served over HTTPS. Sign-in is handled by Google through Firebase Authentication, and this website never sees or stores a password. No system is perfectly secure, but account access is protected by Google's authentication infrastructure rather than by anything hand-rolled here.

Changes to this policy

This policy will be updated if what the website does with personal data changes. The effective date at the top of the page reflects the version in force.
