In 2017, ST MAN officially began his journey in Nepali hip-hop, driven by a vision that many people around him could not yet see.
Today, he is known as a versatile artist, songwriter, producer, and composer, recognized for his distinctive sound, creative vision, and hands-on approach to his music.
But his journey began with almost nothing.
The first recordings
Four Thousand Rupees

Without a laptop or professional equipment to produce music, ST MAN started recording his earliest songs using a Chinese mobile phone worth around NPR 4,000.
Taught himself
Seventeen
17years old
At just 17 years old, he began teaching himself how to make beats, record music, and develop his craft by watching tutorials on YouTube. He learned everything on his own.
He knew exactly what he wanted to do and continued working toward his vision.
Before music, he spent part of his childhood studying to become a monk and left those studies to follow music instead — described by ST MAN in the Sushant Pradhan Podcast, episode 305, 15 August 2024.
At a time when few people believed in him, he believed in himself.
January 2021
Museko Chora
In January 2021, ST MAN achieved widespread recognition with the release of his breakthrough hit “Museko Chora.”
The song and its creatively directed music video introduced his unique artistic vision to a much wider audience and established him as one of the exciting names in Nepali hip-hop.
Beyond Nepal
Across the Border
Following the success of songs such as “India,” his music began reaching listeners beyond Nepal, helping him build a growing audience in India and across borders.

2021
The Empty Room
His path has not been easy.
In 2021, ST MAN had built a small home studio through his own hard work. After investing his time and money into equipment including a microphone, speakers, keyboard, and laptop, his entire studio was stolen by thieves.
Everything he had worked hard to build was gone.

ST MAN is also known for living differently from many artists in the hip-hop world. He does not smoke, drink alcohol, or use drugs, and he has been a pure vegetarian throughout his life.
His philosophy is simple:

Beyond his own music, ST MAN is the founder of Nepal Hip-Hop Records, a platform created to support and promote emerging Nepali artists while contributing to the growth of the country’s hip-hop culture.

- 2023Released Aaba (A Tribute to Father) with LIL NORZZA and featured on Joks 21's Party Party.
- 2024Released India and Stylish.
- 2025Released and collaborated across Samandha, FUCK LOVE, Kollywood, Jaane Bhaye Jaau, Bombay and Cinema — Bombay's video passed one million views within a day.
- 2026Released Kali Kali and Dubai, announced Y2K (Slim Shady) with Roj Moktan, and continued live appearances in Nepal and internationally.
